The Congress theme will focus on the solutions for the world of tomorrow. Refer to our calendar for more details &amp; the registration link!<\/li>\n<li><strong>Palermo, Italy, May 2019<\/strong>: Recently, YPSA partook in the annual conference of the UGS, Unione Giovanni de Svizzera. The Palermo conference focused on Entrepreneurship and featured a speech from many important Swiss-Italian people, notably Claude Nicollier, the first Swiss Astronaut!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Lucerne, Switzerland, Summer 2024<\/strong>: Two of our members, Fran\u00e7ois Schwalb and Sofia Garcia Reyes, proudly represented YPSA at the 100th Congress of the Swiss Abroad. This milestone event celebrated a century of unity and innovation within the Swiss diaspora. Fran\u00e7ois and Sofia actively contributed to discussions on the evolving role of youth in shaping the future of Swiss communities abroad, highlighting the importance of inclusion, leadership renewal, and cross-generational collaboration to address modern global challenges.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<figure id=\"attachment_8690\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-8690\" style=\"width: 150px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-8690 size-thumbnail\" src=\"https:\/\/ypsa.ch\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/sofia-francois-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-8690\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Our members during the session of votation<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Grand Est, France, Fall 2024<\/strong>: Mathis attended the annual meeting of the Swiss Clubs of Grand Est, where he engaged in insightful discussions with the president of the UASF and the Consul. The conversations centered on pressing issues such as youth involvement, generational renewal, and ensuring a vibrant future for Swiss clubs through innovative initiatives and fresh perspectives.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<figure id=\"attachment_8691\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-8691\" style=\"width: 150px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-8691 size-thumbnail\" src=\"https:\/\/ypsa.ch\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/mathis--150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-8691\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Mathis at the Grand Est meeting.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Bern, Switzerland, August 2026:<\/strong>Four YPSA members \u2013 Max, Edgar, Mathis and Sofia \u2013 were officially elected and confirmed as delegates to the Council of the Swiss Abroad (CSE). Their presence in the National Council chamber marks an important step in strengthening the youth voice within the Fifth Switzerland.
